- Counseling concerning prevention, therapy and after-care of hematological and oncological diseases.

Gastroenterology ↑
- Personal counseling to prevention, diagnostic, and therapy of diseases of the liver, esophagus, stomach, gut, pancreas, gall bladder and biliary tract as well as endocrinological diseases.
- Special focus on acute and chronic diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, inflammatory diseases of the liver (e.g. Hepatitis B and C) and cancer of the large intestine, esophagus, stomach and pancreas.
- Ultrasound examination; including Doppler and Duplex and sonographically controlled puncture if necessary. Abdominal pain, nausea, loss of weight or skin discoloration combined with paresthesia are symptoms that demand for an ultrasound examination.
- Endoscopy of the esophagus, the stomach and the duodenum (esophagogastroduodenoscopy) and the large intestine (Colonoscopy). Removing polyps, placement of a feeding tube (PEG, PEJ), stop a bleeding (Argon Plasma Coagulation/APC or multi-band ligature) or medical correction of a intestinal stenosis (dilatation by bougienage or stent implantation).
- Screening colonoscopy: In people aged 55 years and older, a colonoscopy may be performed every five years. The costs will be covered by your health insurance.
- Comprehensive experience in the diagnostics and the treatment of infectious diseases, including hepatitis, infectious diarrhea, tropical diseases as well as chronic inflammatory bowel diseases (Morbus Crohn, Collitis ulcerosa).
- Endoscopic examination of the sigmoid colon (lower section of the colon = sigmoidoscopy) or the rectum (rectoscopy): Recommended for patients with pain, bleeding or tumors in the anal area.

- The goal of every clinical trial is to improve the curing prospects and hence life expectancy.
